The FDA's updated chart now includes 76 varieties of hand sanitizer that should be avoided, some which have already been recalled, and other products being recommended for recalls as they. The Food and Drug Administration has updated its recall list to include 149 different hand sanitizers due to failing standards on randomized tests. "Although all persons using these products on their hands are at risk, young children who accidentally ingest these products and adolescents and adults who drink these products as an alcohol (ethanol) substitute, are most at risk for methanol poisoning," it stated.
